Luca Cumani will monitor the movements of John Gosden's Taghrooda before deciding on a plan of action for his smart filly Volume.

The Newbury Listed winner was beaten just under four lengths by Taghrooda when third in the Investec Oaks, and went on to fill the same position in the Irish Oaks behind Bracelet.

Volume had held up proceedings at the Curragh as she had been fitted with an incorrect type of shoe.

"She came out of the race well and we are going to give her a run in the Yorkshire Oaks if Taghrooda doesn't go there. If she does, then we won't run," said Cumani.

The Darley-sponsored Yorkshire Oaks is on August 21.
