WALSH BACK NEXT MONTH Champion jump jockey Ruby Walsh will not return to action before the start of March at the earliest. The rider has been sidelined since breaking a leg in a fall at Pardubice in the Czech Republic last October. "He's not expecting to be back now before March 1st whatever happens," trainer Ted Walsh, the jockey's father, said today. "He's going to give himself a couple of weeks riding and working before he gets back. "He's playing it by ear and there's no definite date. Every time he opened his mouth last time somebody had it in print he would be back this day or that day so he's not going to put himself under any pressure." Walsh rode 96 winners in his native country last season, 25 more than his nearest rival Paul Carberry, and had partnered 17 before he his lay-off this campaign.
