WILLIAMSON SUFFERS FALL AT NAVAN

Norman Williamson will decide tomorrow morning whether he will ride at Fontwell after bruising a shoulder in a heavy fall at Navan today.

The tumble was completing a poor weekend for the ace rider who was unseated from odds-on favourite and Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup hope Nick Dundee at Gowran Park 24 hours earlier.

Williamson`s mount Squasquas was travelling strongly today when suffering a fatal fall at the third-last flight of the Navan Supporters Hurdle, throwing the jockey to the floor.

He said afterwards: 'I have got a stiff right shoulder and I`ll be having physio this evening. I`ll decide in the morning whether I`ll go to Fontwell but it might be better to take a couple of days off.'
