Wadham ponders Tiana options Lady Tiana will have a mid-season break before a possible trip to Ireland or France ahead of her appointment at Ascot on Qipco Champions Day. Lucy Wadham's four-year-old landed the Lancashire Oaks recently, providing the handler with the biggest success of her career on the level. That Group Two win now sits alongside a Listed success gained at Doncaster at the end of last season and Wadham feels the filly has now earned herself a crack at a Group One. "She came out of the race in great form and will now have a bit of a break," said the Newmarket trainer. "As she doesn't like quick ground we've been quite lucky that we've been able to run her at this time of year and hopefully when she comes back in the autumn she'll have her ground. "There's a Group Two in Ireland (Blandford Stakes) on the same day as the Prix Vermeille, ironically, and if she runs before Ascot it will be in one of those two. "I wouldn't mind if she went straight to Ascot, though. "She doesn't need it bottomless, far from it, it just seems to inconvenience most of the others more than her. "The trouble with her is she needs to be ridden for a little turn of foot so every so often she can meet trouble in running. "I think she's earned a crack at a Group One."
