Walk On set for Goffs sprint Tommy Stack is aiming for a lucrative afternoon on Sunday week as his smart filly Walk On Bye is set to tackle the Goffs Million Sprint at the Curragh. Horses bought at last year's Goffs sales are qualified to run in both the Mile and Sprint races. All three of Walk On Bye's races have been at the County Kildare track and she won the Group Three Anglesey Stakes before finishing third in the Phoenix Stakes. Stack's son and assistant Fozzy said: "Walk On Bye will go for the Goffs Million Sprint. "I'm very happy with her work and we will be hoping for a good draw and will need the rub of the green in that regard." A total of 77 horses remain in the races at the current entry stage. The final entries are to be made five days before the races, when connections decide m for the Mile or the Sprint. Stack's Capulet Montaque is likely to join the filly in the sprint race while Carazam could go for the Mile if the ground is good. The master of the sales race is Richard Hannon, who claimed both Curragh events last year with Soul City and Minor Vamp when they were run as the Goffs Million and the Goffs Fillies Million. His team could be headed by Private Story, who won his only start at Sandown last month. Hannon's son and assistant, Richard jnr, said: "Of course it was brilliant to win last year's races, but going for two in a row will be difficult. "I should imagine Private Story is most likely to head to the Curragh as he has been working well. With the others I am not sure at this stage as it is too early to tell." Those others include Cadley Road and Lucky General. Mark Johnston's Solario winner Shakespearean, Aidan O'Brien's Cabaret, Famous and Beethoven and the Kevin Prendergast-trained Crystal Gal are others who may be in the mix.
