Aidan O'Brien 's newcomer Wall Street finished with a wet sail to cut down Jesus Green in the opening colts' and geldings' juvenile maiden over a mile in Leopardstown.

Sent off as the 7/1 second-string of O'Brien's pair, he made progress in fourth approaching the final furlong and soon took closer order for Wayne Lordan as Jesus Green came to head Francillon inside the furlong marker.

In the closing stages, Wall Street stayed on strongly to sweep past Jesus Green (9/1) to oblige by half a length. O'Brien's Drumbeat was the same margin back in third at 10/3.

The winner, by Sea The Stars, made 1,000,000gns at the Tattersalls November foal Sale in 2024.

O'Brien said: "He is obviously a good horse - he just took off. For him to do that, he had to be good. They didn't go very quick.

"He's a big horse anyway, but he will come on tons I'd say."
