Walsh aiming for quick winner at Wexford Ruby Walsh will be hoping Sharps Choice makes his trip to Wexford worthwhile on Friday evening. The champion jockey has been selective about his rides in recent weeks and again only has one mount on the card at the south-east venue. Sharps Choice wouldn't be winning out of turn in the opening maiden hurdle having been placed five times in his career to date. He's best remembered for throwing away a winning chance at Punchestown in May, when unshipping Niall Kelly after the final flight. A disappointing run at Downpatrick followed but he was just collared late on by Line Out at Killarney on his most recent start, and deserves a change in luck. King's War is another who has been knocking on the door recently and looks an obvious threat in the two-mile contest. In-form handler Joseph O'Brien will be hoping to add to his recent tally when Valgor Du Ronceray lines up in the beginners chase later on the card. He looked set to win at Limerick last time before a bad blunder at the last fence. He eventually had to settle for second after getting collared on the run-in. The French-bred had been a faller on his previous outing at Clonmel but if his jumping holds together, he should be hard to beat. Another horse who seeks a deserved success is Osco Mosco, who lines up in the concluding bumper. Gordon Elliott's filly has been runner-up on her three outings to date and connections will be hoping she gets her turn now. She bumped into a smart individual in Ainsi Va La Vie on her last start at Limerick and the form of her previous run at Downpatrick has worked out well.
