Walsh expects to be fit for tomorow Ruby Walsh is expected to be fit to ride at Newbury tomorrow despite suffering a fall at the track this afternoon. Walsh parted company with 9/4 favourite Sollim in the Silver E/Sanderson Weatherall Novices' Handicap Chase and was signed off for the rest of the day with a head injury. His rides on Hennessy day include big-race favourite Aiteen Thirtythree and legendary stayer Big Buck's in the Sportingbet Long Distance Hurdle. Trainer Paul Nicholls expects his number one rider to recover in time saying, "Ruby thinks he'll be fine tomorrow. He got a kick on his helmet and he's just getting himself checked out." Walsh was later holding an ice pack on the back of his head but appeared in good spirits. He said: "I'll be all right. I got a bump on the back of my head and my helmet came off, but it could have been worse."
