Martin said afterwards, "That was great to get a change of luck, he was entitled to that someday. We were probably go to Punchestown next with him."
Walsh's earlier winners came aboard Kempes winning The Rathbarry & Glenview Stud Novice Hurdle and Uimhiraceathar winning The EBF Novice Handicap Hurdle Series Final.
