Warrsan Bows Out Dual Coronation Cup winner Warrsan has been retired due to a joint problem.Trainer Clive Brittain has called time on the eight-year-old's career after X-rays revealed damage to a back joint could make it too risky to continue racing.Brittain told the Sportsman: 'It was basically wear and tear after having been campaigned on all sorts of ground.'He was feeling his joints at the back end of last year after he had won in Germany and he never sparkled.'The damage is there and the horse owes us absolutely nothing.'Warrsan became one of only five dual winners of the Coronation Cup when lifting the Group One contest at Epsom in 2003 and 2004.The son of Caerleon also won the Group One Grosser Preis Von Baden in Germany twice as well as notching five other wins to amass over #1million in prize money.(C) PA Sport
