Water set to tackle Business Narrow Water is set to take on See More Business in the Tote John Hughes Rehearsal Chase on Saturday. The gelding`s trainer, Ferdy Murphy, has to decide between the Grade Two Chepstow contest and an alternative engagement at Wetherby on the same day for his promising eight-year-old.But Murphy is favouring the more-valuable race as a chance to pick up some good prize-money.Narrow Water won four of his five races last season, marking himself down as a chaser to follow when winning the Northern National at Newcastle on his final appearance. But he was disappointing when pulled up in the Tote Becher Chase on his only start this season.'He just ran too free at Aintree, he jumped a bit too well early on and took too much out of himself,' Murphy explained.'Adrian (Maguire) sensibly decided to pull him up rather than risk letting him take a tired fall.'At the moment I am inclined to take him to Chepstow even though he is a couple of pounds out of the handicap. There might be some good money to be picked up if the race cuts up.'He is a horse who takes a hell of a lot of getting fit. In fact, he would probably only just be getting there by the end of the season.'He is a bit of a Billy Bunter, who likes his cake and his lemonade. He eats an unbelievable amount but I am still convinced that he is a serious horse, a proper chaser who I hope could be a Grand National contender.'Hopefully, Saturday will bring him on a bit more and we`ll know where we stand.'
