Waterlogged Leicester abandoned Saturday afternoon's meeting at Leicester has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track. Clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson assessed conditions at 7am but found false patches of ground as well as waterlogging. He said: "We have had to abandon. We had one millimetre of rain overnight but the track has not recovered as well as we had hoped. "There is more rain around today so we've got no option but to abandon."
