Buaiteoir is an interesting runner at Laytown tomorrow as he represents Newmarket trainer Amy Weaver in the Neptune Claiming Race.

He'll be a first venture into the fray on this side of the Irish Sea for Weaver, and she is looking forward to the challenge.

Busy at her yard on Wednesday morning, the ambitious young handler explained: "He's my first runner in Ireland and given that he's part Irish-owned (by Colm White) we thought that a run on the beach would be good fun.

"We've taken him to the beach at home a few times and he seemed to have enjoyed it so we're hoping for the best.

"I'm flying over tonight myself and I'm looking forward to it very much. Gary Carroll will ride and he's ridden winners for me in England. He's a talented rider." (EM)
