Trainer Gavin Cromwell continued his recent revival as Wegotogether stayed on strongly to win Division l of the Ploughman Bar & Grill Handicap at Bellewstown.

Well supported from 16/1 in the morning, the daughter of Zoustar touched single figures during the afternoon, before returning at 11/1.

Soon prominent from her wide draw, the four-year-old tracked the leaders under Gary Carroll in the early stages of the mile contest.

Pushed along to close on the leaders early in the straight, Wegotogether came through to challenge Launch Time over a furlong out.

Ridden to lead with less than 150 yards to race, the eventual winner kept on well to score by one-and-a-quarter lengths.

Gavin Cromwell said: "She had been a little bit frustrating, but nice to win a race with her. It wasn't a great race, but great to win one.

"Gary gave her a nice ride. She had a bad draw, but she jumped well and got up into a nice position, followed the favourite around and got it smooth.

"Hopefully, she can build on it."
