Dermot Weld and Oisin Orr doubled up at Leopardstown through Amma Grace in the Listed Trigo Stakes.

The 7/2 chance tracked the leaders on the inner in this 10 furlong test and smooth progress to lead approaching the home bend.

She rounded it and kicked a healthy four lengths clear as she began to negotiate the final quarter of a mile.

The Galileo filly was still clear inside the final furlong but top-weight Numerian shot out of the chasing pack and stayed on strongly.

Amma Grace held on, though, by an ever-diminishing neck at 7/2. The runner-up went off at 10/1 and was four and a quarter lengths ahead of Elizabethofaragon (18/1).

“She did it well and she got a good tactical ride from Oisin,” said Weld.

“I walked the last two furlongs of the track when I came racing and, while the stands' side is obviously a shade quicker, I didn't think there was that much advantage in coming all the way across, especially when you are going to ride her very positively.

“The shortest way home is still up the inside and that's what he did. He gave her a good ride and the filly deserved it.

“She ran an excellent second in the Group 2 Blandford. I just wanted to win a stakes race with her this year.

“She's a stakes winning filly now and a beautifully bred filly for Moyglare.

“I'll speak with Eva Maria Haefner but I'd say the plan will be to keep her in training next year.”

Weld and Orr also landed the opener on the card with Eylara
