Dermot Weld has identified the Big Bad Bob Gladness Stakes as the next objective for Joailliere following her pleasing return to action at the Curragh on Sunday.

The daughter of Dubawi made a huge impression when making a winning debut at Gowran Park last April and was not disgraced when taking a huge step up in class in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

She made her first appearance since that May Classic in the Park Express Stakes on the first day of the new Flat season and having finished third, her trainer is expecting her to raise her game when she returns to the track on April 3.

Weld said: "She ran a lovely race and will run back in the Gladness in two weeks' time.

"For a filly that was off for so long it was a lovely run."
