Weld hits out at Sunday's fixture clash Dermot Weld this evening hit out at the fixture list's clash of Cork and Galway on Sunday, saying “there is very good Flat racing in both places and it is a pity to divide the programme between them.” Weld added “Cork has a top class programme, featuring Listed and Group races while Galway also has some very good Flat races on Sunday too. It doesn't make sense, especially when Galway is trying to gain support, to divide what we have between two places on the same day.”
