Weld undecided on Vigil route Dermot Weld is still weighing up whether to ready Vigil for a second tilt at the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham or pursue a career over hurdles. The five-year-old finished fifth behind stable companion Silver Concorde at last year's Festival and won on his first start since at Leopardstown on Monday. The master of Rosewell House also struck gold at the Foxrock track's Christmas Festival with Windsor Park, who having won two bumpers and two Flat races, made an impressive start to his jumping career. Weld said: "Both Windsor Park and Vigil came out of their races well and while no definite decision has been made yet, Windsor Park is likely to run in a winners-of-one race next. "No decision on where Vigil goes next has been made. He jumps well and could appear in a maiden hurdle in two weeks' time, or else he could stay on the Flat and run in the Cheltenham Bumper."
