What About Me continues Nolan's run

Co Carlow trainer Brian Nolan recorded his second two year old winner of the year when his What About Me belied odds of 20/1 to score on her debut in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Cork today.

The daughter of Bertolini, under Davy Moran, raced prominently throughout, improved to lead over a furlong out before staying on well to hold the challenge of Wrong Answer by half a length.

Afterwards Nolan reported "I only have two two year olds and they have both won first time out for me which is unbelievable!"

He added "I was a bit concerned about the soft ground because his sire Bertolini's progeny seem to prefer better ground. I didn't think What About Me was as forward as my previous two year old winner, This Is Real."

"What About Me could be a good filly and also I train her half sister Kaprun (by Montjeu), who won over hurdles at Limerick recently."
