What About Us Gets Off the Mark at the Fourth Attempt The consistent What About Us got off the mark at the fourth attempt when recording an impressive three-and-a-half-length success in the Boylesports Fillies' Maiden for trainer Joseph O'Brien and jockey Joey Sheridan. Sent off the 2/1 favourite, the well-bred filly travelled comfortably throughout the contest and always looked to be going best. When asked to quicken entering the closing stages, she showed a smart turn of foot to put daylight between herself and her rivals before running out a convincing winner. Speaking after the race, Joseph O'Brien's representative Michael Halford said "She was probably beaten by a smart filly (Glyfada) in Killarney, and she has come forward nicely in herself since then. "She did it very comfortably this evening. She travelled like a winner through the race but, once he asked her to quicken up, she quickened up well and put it to bed. "With a lot of these well-bred fillies, the aim is obviously to get them as high rated as you can and go for a bit of black type with them along the way. You would (see her in that company) — she's a filly with a future, I think. She's improving with racing." (Quotes from Michael Graham)
