Williamson to rest after fall Norman Williamson was today hoping to be fit to ride at next week`s Galway Festival after X-rays showed he had broken no bones in a fall at Tipperary. He did no worse than badly sprain his left ankle when coming down on Quinze in a hurdle race on Sunday. The jump jockey has been advised to rest and keep an ice pack on his injury for a couple of days before going back for another check-up. The seven-day Galway Festival gets under way next Monday.
