Winston On Majesty

Robert Winston, who rode Stream Of Gold 12 months ago for Sir Michael Stoute, will partner ante-post favourite King's Majesty in the William Hill Lincoln on Saturday.

'I sat on him in the early part of his work before he did a serious piece and he gave me a really nice feel,' Winston told At The Races.

'He seems like he is ready for the race and I believe he has been working really well.

'I don't think the draw is that important at Redcar, I think you can win from anywhere but if I could pick I think I would like to be in the middle.'

Seb Sanders rides leading fancy Cesare and the jockey was suitably impressed with the condition of the five-year-old after he partnered the gelding in exercise on Saturday.

'I went in for the first time this year and sat on him on Saturday morning and he went pretty well,' said Sanders.

'I think everybody was pretty pleased with the way he worked. He rode like he was ready to race.'
