Amadeus Wolf's preparation for the Stan James 2000 Guineas is 'going according to plan'.

The son of Mozart won the Shadwell Stud Middle Park Stakes to earn his place in the line-up for the Newmarket Classic on May 6 and also provide his trainer Kevin Ryan with a first Group One success.

'He's in great order and everything is going according to plan so far,' reported Ryan.

'He looks marvellous, he's got his coat through and he's really strengthened up and I'm absolutely delighted with him.

'He goes straight to the Guineas.'

Amadeus Wolf is a general 14-1 shot for the 2000 Guineas.
