Wonder winner for Devereux

I Wonder Now recorded a shock debut victory in the bumper at Wexford, and the 25/1 success proved a double cause for celebration to local trainer Jimmy Devereux.

The Broadway trainer stands sire Publisher at his Rostoonstown Stud, and the three-parts brother to leading US stallion Dynaformer was also recording his first success on the track.

The MJ Doran-ridden five-year-old, from the second crop of Publisher, got the better of a duel in the straight with Fosters Cross to win by half a length.
