Woodlands Park Chase Goes To Leopardstown

The fixture lost tomorrow at Naas due to a waterlogged track will not be rescheduled in the immediate future owing to the continuing negative weather forecast and the fact that Naas has three upcoming fixtures through to 9th March.

Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) expects that it will be in a position early next week to announce new dates for this lost Naas fixture (likely to be in the second half of March) and also the Limerick fixture lost on 10th January (likely to be rescheduled in April).

In order to preserve an important Pattern race opportunity for staying novice chasers, HRI has announced that the 3-mile Woodlands Park Novices Chase (Grade 2) will be transferred to Leopardstown next Sunday 27th January, to form part of an 8-race card. Fresh entries will be taken on Tuesday 22nd January for this race.
