Workforce to reappear at the Curragh Last year's Investec Derby and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Workforce will start his four-year-old campaign at the Curragh next month. Trainer Sir Michael Stoute is planning to start him off in the Tattersalls Gold Cup on May 22 before targeting the premier middle-distance events around Europe and the world. "He's a big boy. He's just moving into strong work and I hope to start him off in the Tattersalls Gold Cup," said the trainer after his star had worked under Ryan Moore on the Warren Hill all-weather in Newmarket with a couple of stablemates. "I hope he will have improved a little. I know he didn't run in the Breeders' Cup but he went to America and I didn't want to start him too early again. "This looked ideal. Obviously the Arc is an important race and one you want to win, but it's only April and the races will set themselves out."
