York option for Newsletter Newsletter could run in Britain for the third time this season at York next month as long as conditions are suitable. Trainer Ken Condon has his eyes on the Summer Stakes on the Knavesmire on July 10 as long as there is a bit of ease in the ground. The talented three-year-old sprinter has already paid her expenses for trips away from her County Kildare base with a Listed success at Nottingham preceded by a third place at Bath. And she just failed to capture the Group Three Ballyogan Stakes at the Curragh earlier this month when caught close home by Ainippe. It is doubtful Newsletter will take up her entry in the Dubai Duty Free Dash at the Curragh on Saturday because the ground is forecast to be too quick for her. "It was a speculative entry. At this stage we're certainly seeing she's better with ease in the ground," said Condon. "It's been very warm and the forecast is very good. I know they will have it well watered but I think she'll probably be missing it. "We're looking at York on July 10 for the Group Three for fillies. There might be a better chance of a bit of rain there in the north of England. "That's where we have our eye on. Good ground would be fine and the soft side of good would be perfect. If the ground is right we'd probably go there. "She is entered in the Brownstown at Fairyhouse (on July 5), but that's seven furlongs and we would like to try that trip at some stage. "Of the two races I'd hazard a guess and say that York was favourite at the moment."
