The extended seven furlong maiden in Tipperary boiled down to three horses but in the end it was 4/1 shot Youceeyouceecee who saw it out best.

Youceeyouceecee, 10/11 favourite Elusive Approach and 100/1 newcomer Aussie Bound were the three horses who drew clear but in the final furlong the two main market protagonists went on with Youceeyouceecee outgunning the jolly by half a length.

Aussie Bound was four and a half lengths back in third but eight lengths in front of fourth placed 100/1 shot Princess Harriet

Winning trainer Susan Finn said: ""It's hard luck on Killian Leonard as he was suspended today.

"The rain was a big help and he'll be aimed at a handicap at the Galway festival."

Wayne Lordan did the steering in Leonard's absence.
