Yutaka keen to ride in Derby Top Japanese jockey Yutaka Take is still on the lookout for a mount in the Vodafone Derby, it emerged today.'Nothing has been decided but any time we get a call we go,' his agent Patrick Barbe said.Take, who is based in France, was in action at Sandown on Monday but had a day to forget after travel problems upset the 32-year-old`s schedule and he missed an engagement to walk the course at Epsom and his first booked ride.He was then denied a clear passage on Nuclear Debate in the Temple Stakes after switching the joint-favourite to the centre of the course.Take came in for some criticism for the ride he had given John Hammond`s sprinter, who finished third, beaten half a length behind the winner Cassandra Go. But Barbe defended the jockey`s tactics.'The instructions were to go along the rail but we found the ground was better off the rail. He took that option and went for better going,' he said.'The horse had a lot to do at the weights with the winner on Royal Ascot form last year when he beat her about two lengths.'Barbe is also hoping to secure a ride for Take in the Prix du Jockey-Club (French Derby) on Sunday for which he has one or two options.
