Ray Hackett is hoping Tidy Zag will prove good enough to take his place at one of the major Festivals later this term.

The nine-year-old completed his hat-trick when claiming a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse on Sunday, adding to his previous triumphs at Tramore and Cork.

Tidy Zag has duly climbed the ratings but Hackett believes his current mark could merit an outing at Fairyhouse or Punchestown later in the year.

He said: "We have no plans for him yet, he seems fine after the run, he grubbed up great and that is always a good sign with him.

"We have nothing mapped out for him for the moment. He got 12lb (for winning on Sunday), and I think we will have to go down the road of better quality handicaps with him now.

"He has gone up 27lb in total (since his win at Cork), but it is a good complaint to have.

"I'll just have to sit down and look through the calendar to see where he will go next, but you'd be hoping he would be good enough to go to Fairyhouse or Punchestown (Festivals)."
