Zanoosh 'thriving on her racing' as she brings up the four-timer The upwardly-mobile Zanoosh brought up her four-timer when taking the scalp of even-money-favourite How's Hannah in the Grade 3 Boyle Sports Shannon Spray Mares Novice Hurdle in Limerick. How's Hannah took over two out from Carry On Heidi, but was followed through by Zanoosh who challenged her over the last. Upon touching down, Zanoosh led narrowly under Brian Hayes and grittily found all along the run-in to hold the runner-up by three-quarter of a length at 7/4 for trainer Colm Murphy. Zanoosh's winning spree began with a victory in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown in December. before a valuable handicap hurdle success at Navan the following month. She was last seen winning by eight lengths in Listed company at the same venue in February. Hayes. who rode a quick-fire double on the card, said: "It was very straightforward. I thought Willie's mare (Mullins, How's Hannah) was the one to beat, so followed her away and luckily my mare handled the ground really well and found for pressure. "There aren't many horses who win three races in a row, never mind four, and she is thriving on her racing. Hopefully she will keep doing that and when Colm gets one like her, he is dynamite." Hayes also took the opener on Dschingis Desire for Mullins. Additional reporting by Tom Weekes
