Emmet Mullins has reported that Zero Ten is on the way back after an injury sustained at Punchestown in November.

The eight-year-old gelding has been a money-spinner for the stable having won six of his 12 races under rules including a Grade 3 novice chase at Thurles in March last year.

Mullins said: “Zero Ten is hopefully back on the mend. He got a knock after a fall in Punchestown (in a Grade B handicap chase) and hopefully we have him sorted.

“I’d say we’ll go back over hurdles with him. He hasn’t been the most straightforward to keep sound and we’ll possibly mix it on the Flat with him as well.

“The Mees (Zero Ten's owners) love to have runners in Galway and there is also Russian Diamond and The Gossiper, who won a bumper in Down Royal. Hopefully they will have a bit of luck with them."

Zero Ten has a record of three from four around Ballybrit comprising a bumper, a maiden hurdle and a beginners' chase.
