A Case Of You heading for Flying Five Ado McGuinness has issued an update on stable star A Case Of You who is on course for an outing on Irish Champions Weekend. The seven-time winner, who scored at the highest level in the Prix de l'Abbaye in the autumn and the Al Quoz sprint at Meydan in March, didn't fire when last seen in the Platinum Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. However, after saddling a double at Gowran Park on Wednesday evening, the Lusk handler reported that the four-year-old is in fine fettle with the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Flying Five at the Curragh next on the agenda. The Hot Streak colt was beaten only half a length when runner-up in last year's renewal. “He’s in great form," said McGuinness. "I was going to go to France last week but I thought the ground was a little quick and it was the same for a Group 3 at the Curragh. “It’s all systems go for the Flying Five on Champions Weekend. He actually went for me in the field the other day when I was giving him a roll. It’s a great sign and he’s in great form. “He’ll have a racecourse gallop or two before Champions Weekend. Fingers crossed we’ll get a drop of rain at some stage. It will be Paris after the Flying Five.” Additional reporting by Alan Magee
