A Dream To Share back on winning trail at Leopardstown Dual Grade 1 bumper winner A Dream To Share recorded his first success since the 2023 Punchestown Festival when landing the concluding Leopardstown Members (Q.R.) Maiden. Lightly raced over the last two seasons, the seven-year-old had shaped with plenty of promise in two recent Flat starts over inadequate distances. Stepped back up to a more suitable trip here on his third run on the level, the John and Thomas Kiely trained gelding was backed from 7/4 into 1/2f to resume winning ways. In the first half-dozen throughout, jockey John Gleeson made his move early in the straight, coming through to head leader Arch Empire at the furlong pole before keeping on well to hold Royal Hollow by a comfortable one-and-a-half lengths. Frank Berry said: “That was lovely. He travelled away nicely. They didn’t do quick and then they quickened up. He couldn’t have done it any better. “We’ll see where we go from here. We might go back over hurdles with him, we’ll see with the ground. “He’s after having two nice runs over shorter on very soft ground. That ground was as quick as you’d want it and hopefully he’ll be fine after it. We couldn’t be happier.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson.
