Acapella ready for Troytown Cheltenham Gold Cup contender Acapella Bourgeois is ready to roll at Navan on Sunday. The talented seven-year-old is set to have his first start for Willie Mullins in the Troytown Handicap, for which he is the ante-post favourite. Lar Byrne, who owned Hardy Eustace and heads the Slaneyside syndicate which owns Acapella Bourgeois, told The Times: "Willie has been very positive, he likes him a lot and he will use his handicap mark when it's still low. "Sunday is the plan." Acapella Bourgeois is likely to be joined in the race by a clutch of Gordon Elliott-trained runners, the pick of which could be General Principle. Elliott said: "He ran very well over hurdles last time and I think he'll go well Sunday."
