Sent off 1-2, the Gerald Cottrell-trained juvenile had to knuckle down to his business inside the final furlong to better Old Blue Eyes by a head. Cottrell was represented by his assistant Les Jefford, who said: 'That was just a blow out for him and his main target will be the valuable sales race at Doncaster`s St Leger Meeting next month.'
