After racing clues at Leopardstown Leopardstown hosts its traditional post-racing gallops this Sunday with many Cheltenham contenders on show including the likes of Sir Des Champs, Blackstairmountain and Grand National favourite Prince de Beauchene from the powerful Wilie Mullins yard. Those horses that work after racing will carry number-cloths to aid identification for racegoers and a commentary will also be provided. The Foxrock track hosts a seven race card featuring the Carrickmines Handicap Chase, and the reappearance of Pittoni in the Ballsbridge Hurdle. The action gets underway at 2pm. Rugby fans will also be well catered for with the action widely available on big screens, and the food on track will have a Gallic twist to mark the occasion. Leopardstown CEO Pat Keogh said, “This Sunday will be a great sporting occasion as Leopardstown delivers fantastic live racing action, and the perfect location for the sport enthusiast to watch the rugby. "Our caterers have come up with a French-themed food offering too. It should be a fascinating day when opinions and tips will be flying right, left and centre. Quite simply it is the perfect pre-Cheltenham experience.”
