Agartha aiming for classic glory in Guineas Joseph O'Brien is hoping for another big run from the ultra consistent Agartha in the Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh on Sunday. The Caravaggio filly was a highly progressive juvenile last year, winning the Group 2 Debutante Stakes and finishing a close second in the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes. She has been runner-up in two classic trials at Leopardstown this season when attempting to give away weight to her rivals. O'Brien expects his charge to show up well again in classic company this weekend:- “Our filly is very straight forward, she wears her heart on her sleeve and gives her best running every time she goes to the track. I'm sure she'll do that again at the Curragh. “She's ran really well in her two prep runs when she was penalised both times. Obviously she's off level weights now and steps up to a mile at the Curragh which we think will suit her well. “We think she has a live chance of running into a place and who knows after that. “Scott (Heider) has been a big supporter of Irish racing and Irish horses, having horses in training and sponsoring races at the Curragh. It would be fantastic for him if we could win the big one.”
