Aidan O'Brien's team for York

Midas Touch: The plan is to run him in the Voltigeur, he's in good form and we gave him a break after the Irish Derby.

Johsua Tree: Is back in full work work and we're looking at the Voltigeur for him too. He has a couple more bits of work to do and we're not certain he's going to be ready but we are looking at it for him. He just had a few little problems and had a month off in the late spring and just lost too much fitness and gained weight. It just took time to get him ready again.

Flying Cross: Is also a possible for the same race. He's by Sadler's Wells out of Ramruma and won a maiden at Navan last year. Await The Dawn is another who hasn't run this season but he too is in the mix for the Voltigeur but Midas Touch is by far the most forward of my team for it and our most likely runner. It is possible something else will run with him though.

We are looking at the Juddmonte International with both Rip Van Winkle and Cape Blanco. We haven't decided yet whether one, two or both will run. Both are in good form and came out of their last races well and are ready to run if we decide to go there. We have the Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes in a few weeks to consider and we're looking at that with Fame And Glory too so we're just trying to make sure we get the combinations right.

Starspangledbanner is in good form and the Nunthorpe is the plan. It's been four or five weeks since he won the July Cup and he's ready. He's had a full season in Australia before he came here and is technically a three-year-old, even though he's treated as a four-year-old over here.

We gave him a small little break when he came here and he improved from his first run at York to his next two runs at Ascot and Goodwood.

He drops back to five furlongs but his work has always been very fast, his times are very quick. Ascot is a stiffer six than Newmarket and this is a drop back again but we don't think it will be a problem. He's a very quick horse.
