Aintree ground update

The Aintree going is now good to soft, good in places on the National Course (from good to soft yesterday) and good, good to soft in places on the Mildmay and Hurdles Courses from good yesterday.

Clerk of the course Andrew Tulloch reports: "We watered after racing yesterday. The only section of the Grand National course to be watered was around the 13th and 14th fences in the straight.

"The straights of the Mildmay and Hurdle courses were watered, with between three and four millimetres put on. The bends on those courses have been moved to provide fresh ground."
