Aintree Next For Monkerhostin Monkerhostin is likely to have two more outings this season after finishing sixth behind War Of Attrition in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.Philip Hobbs' nine-year-old, runner-up to Kicking King in the King George VI Chase at Sandown on his penultimate start, will firstly be primed for Aintree next week ? where he will hold two entries at the three-day meeting.And if all goes to plan at Liverpool, the gelding will then be targeted at the Grade Two Betfred Celebration Chase at Sandown at the end of April.'Monkerhostin is in very good order and we're planning to run at Aintree in either the Betfair Bowl or the John Smith's Melling Chase ? although we won't make a decision until nearer the time,' revealed Sarah Hobbs, wife of the Somerset handler.'We're still aiming at the Order of Merit, and we think Monkerhostin has a really good chance of taking the prize.'Obviously, the horse's well-being comes first but if all goes well at Aintree, we're planning to go for the Celebration Chase.'?
