Ireland's final winner of last week's Cheltenham Festival could potentially be out again quite quickly.

Alderwood's heavily-backed victory under Tony McCoy in the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Chase Challenge Cup saw Ireland nose ahead of Britain at 14 to 13 in successes at the meeting.

Trainer Tom Mullins has not made any firm decisions over the future targets of the JP McManus-owned gelding, who was doubling up at the Festival after winning the 2012 County Hurdle, and also took a Grade One at Punchestown.

However, he did not rule out a quick reappearance for Alderwood at the big Fairyhouse meeting over Easter.

"I'd imagine he'll have one more run now, but I'll have to talk to Frank Berry (racing manager for McManus)," said Mullins.

"He's in at Fairyhouse, but there are no real plans and the dust hasn't settled yet. He came back very well, not a bother on him. He's in great form."
