Amonita out of Coronation

French filly Amonita is out of tomorrow`s Stg£250,000 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot after suffering a 11th hour setback.

'We had to take her out this morning as she is ill. She is coughing and she had a high temperature last night and one today so there is no way she could go to Ascot,' a spokeswoman for trainer Pascal Bary said today.

'What is frustrating is that in two days she might be all right, but she won`t be able to run for a little while.'

Amonita finished fifth to Rose Gypsy in the Poule d`Essai des Pouliches (French 1000 Guineas) on her latest start

The French challenge for tomorrow`s Group One contest over the round mile is now down to two - Pouliches runner-up Banks Hill and supplementary entry Lethals Lady.
