ANZUM A LONG WALK POSSIBLE

Last year`s winner Anzum heads 24 entries for the Cantor Index Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday week.

The nine-year-old, who triumphed impressively 12 months ago from Deano`s Beeno, has been off the course since January through injury.

Among his opponents will be Lady Rebecca, making a return to racing action having been `retired` after her last start at Punchestown in May.

Trainer Venetia Williams reports the mare to be in good order for her reappearance, a race she hopes will put her spot-on for a bid at winning a third consecutive Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham.

Other interesting possible contenders are Solo Mio, City Hall and the Charlie Egerton-trained Teaatral.
