Arc Bleu to miss Ebor

Tony Martin's Arc Bleu will miss next week's totesport Ebor at York.

A winner of the Northumberland Plate on his last visit to England, the seven-year-old was a general 12-1 chance for the showcase handicap.

However Martin told At The Races: "He ran very well at Galway last time (third) but we've decided to give him a wee break. Then plan now is to enter him for the Cesarewitch and go there."

Martin also has Salute Him in the York race but admits he will struggle to make the final line-up.

"I don't think he'll get in. I thought he had to win at Galway but the ground had gone against him there. He's entered at Dundalk on Friday night and we'll know on Thursday if he has any chance of getting into the Ebor. It doesn't look good though."
