ARISTOTLE RETURNS AT LONGCHAMP Aristotle, the Racing Post Trophy winner, returns to action in the Group Two Prix Greffulhe at Longchamp on Sunday. Aidan O'Brien's colt is a 20-1 chance with William Hill for the Vodafone Derby. Andre Fabre's duo, Sobieski and Miraculous, also go to post in the eight-runner contest. Sheikh Mohammed's Sobieski is undefeated in two outings this term. The son of Polish Precedent was particularly impressive when taking the Listed Prix Maurice Caillaut by four lengths at Saint-Cloud last month. The other runners are Boutron, Tiger Groom, Rhenium and Snetterton. O'Brien's Royal Kingdom takes his chance in the Group Three Prix de Fontainebleau over a mile on the same card. The Royal Lodge Stakes winner surrendered his unbeaten record when only fifth in the 10-furlong Group One Criterium de Saint-Cloud in late October. However, he should prove more effective over this shorter distance. Fabre may have a key role to play with two unexposed but highly-regarded types, Slipstream King and Berine's Son. Both are coming off impressive wins. Ocean Of Wisdom is proven at this level having lost his maiden tag in the Prix la Rochette. He was a distant last of three to the promoted Ciro in the Grand Criterium in October and is unraced since. Crystal D'Ass and Firyal Pursuit have both won at Listed level this term, and will be out to exploit a fitness advantage. Blu Air Force, a recent Daniel Wildenstein acquisition, was Italy's champion juvenile of last season and made a winning return in Milan last month. Criquette Head's runs Premier Pas, who was a length behind Crystal D'Ass when the pair were second and third in Group Three company in November. Lady Of Chad, the Prix Marcel Boussac winner, should take all the beating in the French 1000 Guineas prep, the Group Three Prix de la Grotte over a mile. Due to have the help of a pacemaker, Saone Et Loire, the Richard Gibson-trained filly takes on Blue Moon, Texalina, Gold Round, Golden Party and Slippering.
