Ascot going change likely Rain has arrived at Ascot this morning, with the prospect of a going change possible on what is ladies' day. Rain has starting at 7am and with more showers forecast, a going change could happen before the first race at 2.30pm. Clerk of the course Chris Stickels said this morning: "It's raining, it started about twenty five minutes ago. I will walk the course again at around 11am and if then see if there needs to be a going change." "It was good ground at first light and the forecast is for showers on and off through the day."
