Joseph O'Brien completed a three on the card, as Artic Assassin stayed on best under Joey Sheridan to win the concluding Your Game, Your Odds, Your 1xBet.ie Handicap at the Curragh.

Sent off 12/1, the Mrs Anne Marie O'Brien owned gelding was held up in mid division in the early part of the race, before being pushed along to close over a furlong out.

Heading Dreoilin 200 yards from home, the eventual winner kept on for a three-quarter-length victory.

Jockey Joey Sheridan was recording a double on the afternoon.

“He looked green throughout the race, he was backward last year,” said O’Brien.

“The race probably fell apart in front of him a little bit but we’re happy that’s he’s a winner for the mare and the family.

“I think he copes with the ground and Joey said he might stay a little bit further.

“He’s by Australia but it’s a quick family, his sister is a fast mare Easy. I’m not sure if he’ll stay as far as a normal Australia but we might try him over a bit further.
