Dual Derby winner Auguste Rodin had a spin around Dundalk before racing began this evening.

He was last seen winning the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Turf at Santa Anita in November.

The Deep Impact colt remains in training for a four-year-old campaign.

He could begin his season in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan (March 30th).

Trainer Aidan O'Brien has also raised the prospect of Auguste Rodin racing on dirt later on in the year after he enjoyed cantering on it at the Breeders' Cup.

Auguste Rodin won the Epsom Derby and the Irish Derby at the Curragh, in addition to the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown before a successful trip to the Breeders' Cup.
