Officials at Ayr today announced that their additional meeting on Monday has been abandoned.

The Scottish fixture is the latest to be lost to the foot and mouth crisis.

Ayr`s marketing manager Chris Kennedy said: 'In view of the foot and mouth outbreak the committee has taken the decision not to race.'

Monday`s card is the third meeting the course has lost because of the disease outbreak following the abandonment of last Friday and Saturday`s programmes.
